About Us

We are Shannon and Earl Carlton and we’ve had Labradors most of our lives. In the early 90’s we became active in obedience and AKC/UKC hunt. Our love of Labs drew us to attending Specialties and at these shows we saw the look we wanted to have as our own. Our aim is to produce well balanced labs with the character & conformation to win in the show ring, the substance & desire to work as a retrieving gun dog, and the temperament to be a couch potato.

In early 2002 when Earl retired from Miami Dade, FL Fire Department, we moved to our Western North Carolina home, 7 acres nestled between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains, bordering on clear and cold Coweeta Creek. Truly a wonderful place to live and raise Labradors.
